About One Community

One Community is a non-profit organisation that provides independent funding for voluntary community action throughout Kirklees. The Foundation was launched in May 2010, and will distribute a series of inaugural grants to voluntary groups in 2011.

We are working hard to establish an endowment fund that will over time generate increasing levels of income which will be utilised to provide grants for non-profit groups. In order to develop this fund we are seeking donations, and also welcomes gifts in the form of legacies, land, property, trusts and shares.
